WHY I CREATED THIS PRogRAM

I was seeing so many business people aimlessly hiring VAs, spinning their wheels with admin tasks, and struggling to do things that are outside of their zone of genius, I want to shout from the rooftops - hire an intern to help you!

And most of the time people would say, that sounds great in theory, but how do I get that done?

This is why I created the Intern Kit - to help business owners set up a system to recruit, train and mentor interns that can help support their growth, essentially for FREE.

ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF

Hi, I’m Amber Frankhuizen, the Founder/CEO at AFMKTG.

When I was first starting out in my business, hiring interns was the best way for me to scale my business FAST at low cost - the only cost being my time invested back into the interns. From hiring interns, I found and trained some of our first full-time employees, who are now a cornerstone of our agency.

Mentorship is my passion. I've been an active leader in SDSU’s formal mentorship program, the Aztec Mentorship Program, since it’s inception and am an emcee and returning speaker to the program. Early in my career I worked in student housing, managing dozens of part-time college student employees. Now, I run our internship program at AFMKTG regularly and am an active advocate and though leader in the mentorship space!

My goals in this journey are to A) help as many college students as possible get the mentorship they so desperately need and B) get overworked entrepreneurs some support and get them STOKED about giving back to their local community through mentorship!

  • This quick & easy course contains educational videos, an annotated workbook, contracts and curriculum, everything we use at our firm to recruit, hire, manage and teach our interns semester after semester.

  • The Intern Kit has been used in businesses large and small. Our students include top performing real estate teams and solopreneurs. This program is meant to be plugged into businesses big and small, and into all types.

  • Time is our most precious commodity. While this course will only take you a few hours to complete, you’ll have a system established to carry you through many rounds of hiring.

    Every semester program is designed to be approximately 12 hours long. If you are administering the internship program at your company, you should expect to spend no more than 2-3 hours per week teaching and managing your interns.

  • Same here! That’s why we also included audio files so you can listen to the teachings while you multi-task.

    Furthermore, this course is QUICK - in just a few hours of time you’ll have your whole system set up to launch your intern program semester after semester.

  • Yes it is, but there are very specific laws around how to do so. We have a whole section in the program called “Legal and Legit,” so you get set up the right way.
